The New York gallery shuts after four years but isn’t disappearing from the art scene

Taymour Grahne released a statement indicating that, “moving forward I have decided to focus on art advising and will therefore close Taymour Grahne Gallery,” but affirms that the energy “built around the gallery was palpable.”

The gallery focused on international emerging and mid-career artists, such as Hassan Hajjaj, Lamia Joreige and Nicky Nodjoumi, and saw artworks placed into the permanent collections of institutions such as The Metropolitain Museum of Art, New York, the British Museum, London, LACMA, Los Angeles, and the Guggenheim, New York, among others.

All gallery-related information has now been archived into his new site where he offers contemporary art advisory services from his London base.
