I thanked the fashion gods when I discovered that six inch Perspex platform shoes were in fashion for S/S10, right in time for my wedding. Being 5ft I need all the help I can get in the height department and I searched the world for Fendi’s now iconic Cinderella shoes in a size 36.

Last season it was hard to ignore the lashings of lace all over the runways. While I was hesitant to start draping myself in swathes of Victorian fabrics, I found these Christian Dior peep toes and thought they were the perfect way to subtly embrace the trend and they've been attached to my feet ever since. They're the perfect girly touch to my usual uniform of denim and leather.

When Dior held its cruise show in Shanghai in June 2010, my oriental embroidered shoes from the A/W09 catwalk collection proved the perfect nod to the house’s Asian connection. Just don’t ask me to walk further than the front row in them!
