Inaugural Event

The Abu Dhabi Dream Ball was founded by ITP Media Group and Sawtouna, a group of women in Abu Dhabi committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and children and supporting meaningful charitable causes through effective action and philanthropic leadership.

For our second ball, we have partnered with Etihad Airways that shares our vision of helping women, children, and youth reach their potential.

The Abu Dhabi Dream Ball will be held ‪on Thursday 23rd of January 2020 at Emirates Palace.

The Dream Ball will support UNHCR‘s initiative in Lebanon to increase access to primary healthcare for refugees. This includes preventive and curative consultations, vaccines, essential medication for acute disorders & chronic illnesses, and mental health services.

The event will raise awareness of sponsorship partners to an elite audience of royalty, international celebrities, regional and international press and VIPs.

UNHCR
UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, is a global organization dedicated to saving lives, protecting rights and building a better future for refugees, forcibly displaced communities and stateless people.

UNHCR works to ensure that everybody has the right to seek asylum and find safe refuge, having fled violence, persecution, war or disaster at home.

Since 1950, UNHCR has faced multiple crises on multiple continents, and provided vital assistance to refugees, asylum-seekers, internally displaced and stateless people, many of whom have nobody left to turn to. It helps to save lives and build better futures for millions forced from home.

2019 Result

2019 Result

In the presence of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan the UAE Minister of Tolerance, individual and corporate donors joined hands on January 31 2019 to raise close to USD 1 million in support of the most vulnerable children in Jordan during the inaugural Abu Dhabi Dream Ball.

Held under the patronage of H.E. Noura Al Kaabi, UAE Minister of Culture & Knowledge Development, and in benefit of UNICEF, the event successfully raised funds to implement a full year programme that will protect and educate over 5,000 children affected by the conflict in Syria.

Through ‘No Lost Generation’, a UNICEF initiative, children will be provided with services and access to learning, skill development and opportunities to realise their full potential and achieve their dreams.
