Held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Art Dubai 2017 is said to have secured an unparalleled line-up of artists and galleries that will offer viewers unrivalled access to art from across the globe.

Taking place from March 15-18 early next year, under the new directorship of Myrna Ayad, the globally acclaimed art fair will feature 90+ galleries from 44 countries in the pursuit of reestablishing its position, once again as the most globally conscious art fair whose objectives range from discovering new artists to deconstructing and studying new trends. With 25 galleries attending the fair for the first time and almost three quarters of galleries returning, both the Contemporary and Modern sections of Art Dubai 2017 are said to be highly anticipated and heavily oversubscribed.

The fair began welcoming art from all over the world to its hometown of Dubai in 2007 and since its conception has been a hub for Modern and Contemporary art – all of which is represented in next year's edition by galleries such as Beirut’s Agial Art Gallery and New York’s Marianne Boesky Gallery respectively.

Promising to provide intellectual and engaging artistic discourse to its attendees, Art Dubai 2017 will truly embody its hometown, Dubai’s, fast paced ambition and quest for innovation whilst also emancipating similar characteristics that support artistic excellence by artists and galleries from around the world.
