An ode to a Chanel code – black and white – the collection centres on these shades synonymous with the brand, and true to form inspire the wearer to reinterpret it.
Enter the black cherry lip gloss (Rouge Coco Gloss in Laque Noir) and bright white eyeliner (Style Yeux Waterproof in Blanc Graphique), two surprising products that suddenly seem the height of chic, not only for Halloween. The Rouge Coco Gloss also comes in Crystal Clear, with a transparent shimmer, while for nails the Le Vernis comes in Pure White and Pure Black.

The rule-breaking collection comes courtesy of Lucia Pica, the brand’s global creative make-up and colour designer, who was inspired by the era of the silver screen when creating the products.
“Black and white are the absolutes of Chanel,” the make-up artist says. “There is something both deep and mysterious yet divine and innocent about each.” And who better to present the fearless spirit of the collection than Chanel muse Kristen Stewart?
In the campaign imagery the actress sports graphic eyes with a deep matte burgundy lip. The two new Rouge Allure Velvet Extreme lipsticks come in Rose Nocturne, a rich rosebud, and Rouge Obscur, a deep wine-stained shade.
