For creative and image director for Dior Makeup Peter Philips, matteness is key to the fundamentals of foundation alongside correction, wear and colour. “A whole spectrum of matte finishes exists, just like colour spectrums. Today, matte is totally refined – it is controlled, mastered and measured. It can be extreme, velvety or luminous – any effect is possible” Phillips says.
Enhancing the wearers complexion after every application, the other innovations within the cushion include a new Skincare Essence. Combining the high-density sponge cushion with such a fluid and ingenious formula, ensures the perfect, luminous matte finish is achieved. Combined with the eternally elegant Natalie Portman fronting the campaign, this is a product truly worth an investment.
