Tamara Ecclestone Launches The First Show Beauty Pop-Up Blow Dry Bar In Dubai
Show Beauty

Founder and Creative Director for Show Beauty, Tamara Ecclestone is currently in Dubai to launch her first pop up blow dry bar in the Four Seasons, DIFC. Just in time for the holiday season ahead, customers will be able to receive a consultation from one of the trained stylists and will then be able to choose from a Show Beauty signature blow dry, braid or updo. The daughter of billionaire Bernie Ecclestone, Tamara is no stranger to the world of business herself. We sat down with the mother of one to find out more about her range and how she deals with the festive season ahead.

What inspired you to launch your range Show Beauty?

I definitely felt like there was a gap in the market for a luxury haircare product and there was nothing really like Show Beauty, where the packaging was simply beautiful. A lot of hair lines to me were not really aesthetically pleasing and didn’t really feel luxurious. I wanted to create something different. I feel like Show Beauty products are a great gift.

Why did you choose this location at Four Seasons DIFC to hold your pop up until mid-January?

The hotel is great, it’s the perfect location where I can attract lots of people from the area. It’s also nearby to many amazing restaurants too.

Tell us why you chose to launch in Dubai - how do you see the beauty industry here?

The beauty industry is huge here. People take a lot of pride in their appearance and love big blowouts and glamourous make-up, so it is perfect for Show Beauty.

What is your secret to waking up feeling refreshed and revived during the festive season?

The festive season is my favourite time of the year. Since having my daughter my life has changed so much and don’t party as much. In fact my parties at Christmas time are for kids and toddlers. I feel like when you have a child the festive season is extra special and this year my daughter really understands what is going on, so I’m really excited.

Where will you spend the festive season?

We have a home in Switzerland, so we will spend it there and have a white Christmas.

Tell us about your morning regime?

I wake up around 6am and have breakfast, we watch a bit of television and then we start getting dressed for the day ahead. I love that half an hour of chilling out with my daughter, watching TV and having lots of cuddles. It is my favourite part of the day.

What is your beauty routine?

I wash my face and moisturise, then apply eye-cream. I put Revitalash on my eyelashes, but I don’t really wear much make-up on a day to day basis. I then dry-shampoo my hair and tie it up. It is all about being simple.

We have seen your glamorous side on the red carpet – tell us about getting ready in the evening?

I’m either super relaxed or really glamorous. I love getting my hair done before a night out and trying different make-up looks. In the daytime I am often running around in leggings with my daughter, so in the evening it is nice to transform my look. I love eating out at restaurants or entertaining at home with a dinner party.

Favourite places to go in Dubai?

I absolutely love Coya, Zuma and La Petite Maison. There are so many great restaurants here and with the sun, sand, the beach and pool you have everything you need. There is also so much great shopping and great nightlife.

Do you have a favourite place to shop in Dubai?

With a whole level dedicated to kids, the Dubai Mall is amazing for clothes shopping. There is also so many stores full of all different hair and make-up products.

Go to designer?

I love Alexander McQueen – the dresses are really flattering and glamorous.

What is your party go-to hairstyle?

I really love to wear my hair down, that is my signature look – big and bouncy with loose waves. I feel the best with hair down around my face.

Beauty secret?

I feel like lashes are a great beauty secret. Recently I have started having lash lift, you have your lashes tinted and it really opens them up, then you don’t need to wear mascara and it really hides any signs of fatigue.

What are you wishing for this festive season?

I feel like I am so lucky in my life so the festive season is more about my daughter and making her happy.

What are you gifting this season?

I’m so organised I’ve already done all my Christmas shopping, it’s wrapped and ready to go! I love giving presents to people. I prefer to give gifts than receive them.
