Anyone who knows Team Bazaar knows that we're pretty partial to a new lipstick, no matter that we each already own about 60 different shades. We each have our own preference when it comes to the hue - Picture Editor Nina Ross prefers a poppy pink, Creative Content Director Katie Trotter favours a muted nude, Fashion & Beauty Editor Gemma Deeks is partial to a rich berry, and I myself enjoy any deep, matte red thrown my way - so we were all collectively pretty darn excited when we heard the news that MAC was set to release a 24-piece strong collection of lipsticks, called Liptensity, that is basically beauty's answer to the perennial I-have-nothing-to-wear dilemma.
Hitting our shores in November, the collection spans (almost) every colour of the rainbow from pinks to purples, browns to berries and even a jet black (we bet Kylie Jenner will be a fan of that one). It came about through the brand's collaboration with tetrachromat Maureen Seaberg, who can see up to 100 million shades that others can't. Yes, as in six zeroes after the one. Made from high-frequency tetrachromatic pigments, the lipsticks are set to change the beauty game as we know it.
See all of the colours in the collection in our gallery above and mark your calendars for November.
