Stella McCartney's spring/summer 2016 show was filled with cheery plaids, stripes and swishy pleats that made texture and pattern feel as easy as ever. Inspired by the collection, Sally Hansen Global Colour Ambassador Madeline Poole created an exclusive nail look that does exactly the same thing—mixes colour with design and manages to stay neutral and subtle. Here's how to do it yourself:
1. Step One: Paint two coats of Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Peach of Cake.
2. Step Two: Use a detail brush dipped in Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Pat on the Black to paint uneven vertical lines that resemble wood grain.
3. Step Three: Continue filling in the nail with vertical lines, adding in straighter, more uniform strokes. Finish with a high-shine top coat.
