
Abu Dhabi Korea Festival 2023: K-Pop Concerts, Film Screenings and Official Dates

A two-day Korean cultural festival is set to take place in Abu Dhabi’s Umm Al Emarat Park from October 27 to October 29.
Organised by the Korean Cultural Center in the UAE, Korea Festival 2023 is brimming with exciting events aimed at celebrating Korean traditions and modern creativity which have recently gained global prominence due to their international relatability.
Day 1 of the festival will see an exhibition titled K-Maestro at 6 pm by the National Gugak Center, featuring the convergence of traditional music, crafts and storytelling in an artistic performance. At the same time, traditional band songs and dances will be presented by the Namwon City Art Troupe, bringing the vibrant spirit of Korea to the UAE’s capital.
The final performance of the day, starting at 7:30, is set to be an electrifying concert by the K-pop sensation DIOS. Marking their debut in Abu Dhabi, the group will captivate the audience with their signature hit Whistle and a medley of BTS covers.

Day 2 will feature a re-run of K-Maestro at 5 pm, followed by a soul K-music performance at 6 pm by the Chungbuk Cultural Foundation, bringing a Western twist to Korean folk music.
The highlight event of the festival, KITE: K-POP in the Emirates will take place at 7:30 pm and will feature an electrifying collaboration between K-pop bands MustB and DIOS.
The festival’s grand finale is scheduled for 8 pm, featuring ON THE K: TAEKWON, an online performance that seamlessly blends K-pop with the traditional martial art of Taekwondo.
