Yes, you read that right. The forty-five-year-old Columbian singer-songwriter has been the talk of the town (well, the world really) following her very public split from former Spanish footballer Gerard Piqué.
Despite the fact the pair weren’t married, they had been together for twelve years and have two children, Milan (9) and Sasha (7). Although the star never addressed the circulating rumours that Gerard had cheated on her – it seems Shakira is finally ready to speak her truth.
Last week, Shakira released her latest song with the Argentine DJ and record producer Bizarrap, entitled Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol 53. In the track, Shakira addresses all her recent controversies such as her tax evasion battle with the Spanish government to living next to her in-laws in addition to how the professional footballer supposedly dropped her during her struggles.
The track almost immediately became a hit, reaching all-new heights such as amassing 100 million views on YouTube to achieving 14.4 million streams on Spotify in 24 hours.
According to the Mirror, the Waka Waka singer and Gerard separated last summer which is believed to have been caused by the professional footballer’s relationship with twenty-three-year-old Clara Chia – since the split, rumours have circulated that Gerard and Clara started their relationship before their marriage ended.
So… Did Clara Chia actually eat Shakira’s jam?
The short answer is we may never know.
According to a report made by the Mirror, the Columbian singer connected the dots after coming back to her Barcelona residence after traveling and saw her strawberry jam had been eaten.
The problem is, according to Sports Manor, neither Gerard nor her two children like jam…
