Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons partnered with The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority and Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève to bring the first ever Dubai Watch Week to the region over the past few days, supported by Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The five day event, held at Dubai Mall, saw the very best of the horology world on display. Visitors were given the chance to view some of the world’s most exclusive timepieces by Audemars Piguet, Breitling,  Bulgari,  Chopard,  De  Grisogono,  IWC,  Mont Blanc, Richard Mille and Tag Heuer.

One of the hottest tickets of the week was the Art of Horology forum which saw 30 industry experts come together to share their thoughts on the hot topics in the watch industry, covering everything from innovation to development, creativity and the sharing of knowledge, providing attendees with a rare insight into the business side of timepieces.

Set to become an annual event, it was a successful debut for the exhibition that strengthened the position of the city as a vital market for horology. Watch this space.
