Make Up For Ever (MUFE) held a dedicated event in Sephora The Dubai Mall last night to celebrate the launch of its new Artist Rouge collection. There are 45 shades that make up the new collection, ranging from neutrals to deep reds and thematic colours like ice blue, green and white, each of which are highly pigmented.
The brand is well-known for its revolutionary products - it was one of the first major make-up brands to introduce a foundation and concealer specifically catering to 4K camera technology - rendering them a go-to for professionals and beauty addicts alike. The collection is another step in the same boundary-breaking direction, given that the formulation of the lipsticks gives eight-hour wear and is moisturising thanks to the use of macadamia oil.
At the event, guests were able to watch MUFE's latest campaign video, partly shot on a Samsung Gear 360, through virtual reality headsets. Shot in Beirut, Lebanon, the campaign features several of the brand's top make-up artists and ambassadors, as well the region's top talents across music and art.
MBC presenter Mariam Said was at the event, and she told Bazaar her favourite shade in the collection was "C407, which is a dark chocolate" and MUFE make-up artist and rising talent Mashael Ajeel was on hand to chat with guests and answer any beauty-related questions they had. Bazaar stole a minute with Mashael where she told us "heavy, heavy lashes and a neutral lip" was her favourite beauty trend for A/W16.
