The Lady Dior bag is just about as iconic as they come in the world of luxury handbags. Its clean, ladylike shape lends a classic vibe whilst remaining entirely chic season through season. Now, the sartorial staple is getting a modern art makeover thanks to the brand's latest pairing with seven of the world's best modern artists.
The project began back in June when Dior partnered with Marc Quinn to design an exclusive print for the opening of the house's London boutique, and it has since expanded its partnership with six more talented artists from the UK and US including Jason Martin, Daniel Gordon, Ian Davenport, Mat Collishaw, Matthew Porter and Chris Martin.
The artists were given carte blanche on their designs, allowing total creative freedom for the project. The bags were first unveiled during a pop-up in Miami, and will make their way to Dubai on December 8 where they will be exclusively available at the Dior Mall of the Emirates boutique, retailing approximately between Dhs18,500 and Dhs42,500
