The Annex, Burj Khalifa will play host to Dubai Collections from tomorrow for a two-day fashion festival, endorsed by Dubai Design & Fashion Council. A whole host of the region's most talented designers will hold invite-only shows, with All Things Mochi, Endemage, Taller Marmo, Madiyah Al Sharqi (who dressed Bazaar's March cover girl Sofia Vergara) and Bouguessa amongst those presenting their new collections.

Whilst the runway shows and presentations are invite-only, Dubai Collections is also set to feature several public pop-up boutiques hosted by much-loved regional brands Bil Arabi, L'Afshar, Nathalie Trad, NS by Noof, Rula Galayani and Shamsa Alabbar. Once you're done shopping, be sure to take a wander through the Fashion Gallery, which charts the journeys of the designers participating in the event.

The event will also see present two fashion talks with some of the industry's most notable names participating. The first will take place on Thursday, March 24 at 6pm and is titled "How regional designers can break into the international arena." Here, Josie Gardener, the Designer Accessories Buyer for Selfridges & Co, Alia Alhamed, Senior Buyer for Rubaiyat and Farah Mounzer, Buying Manager for Symphony, will offer advice on how local designers can attract the attention of international buyers. The second talk - "How media supports emerging talent in the region" -  takes place on Friday, March 25 at 5pm, and will be moderated by Bazaar Arabia's Editor in Chief Louise Nichol. During the talk, Louise, Women's Wear Daily's Middle East Correspondent Ritu Upadhyay and fashion editor Sofia Guellaty will discuss how up-and-coming designers can cleverly capture the attention of luxury press and influencers.

One of the most exciting new events on the region's fashion calendar, you don't want to miss this. We'll see you there.
