In 1998 Paul Smith showed his first women's collection at London Fashion Week, however there has never been a female face of the brand’s seasonal advertising campaigns – until now. The British fashion brand has tapped Polish model Malgosia Bela to be the face of the designer’s Spring/Summer 2018 and the brand’s first ever female ambassador.

“Working with Malgosia for my Spring/Summer 2018 advertising campaign has been a real pleasure," says Paul Smith on the appointment of the model. She’s such a natural fit for Paul Smith, her style and beauty are completely effortless. I’m delighted that we’re getting together in Paris to celebrate working together.”

"Paul Smith is known for his impeccable cut, discreet elegance with a subtle hint of something extravagant and dandy," adds Bela. I’m excited to be working with Paul and to seeing his Autumn/Winter 2018 collection.”

The campaign showcases 40-year old Bela sporting a bright shirt with a Hawaiian motif, conducive of a Fifties surfer chick, holding a lobster. Lensed by photographer Nick Chard, the image is shot in black and white with only the bright, tropical print of the Paul Smith shirt in colour.

Paul Smith Spring/Summer 2018 will start rolling out in stores across the UAE from February 19th.
