Most of us get off a long flight and simply brush all the airplane cookie crumbs from our tracksuit pants and call it a day. Queen Rania, on the other hand, makes an *art* out of it. Arriving in Tokyo to meet with the Japanese Imperial Family, the Jordanian royal departed the aircraft calm, cool, collected...and impossibly chic.
Pairing black shades, a fur coat, and what we are now dubbing formal tracksuit pants - she just about schooled us all in the airplane style department. Equal parts comfy and elevated, the royal is a walking lesson in travel style. She also put our trainers to shame, descending the private plane's stairs in a pair of sleek black heeled boots.
Her looks in Japan so far have been a sartorial treat. While meeting the First Lady of Japan, Akie Abe, she wore a skirt from Jordanian designer Suhad Khawaja and handbag by Amman-based Farah Asmar. Repping Middle Eastern designers at every opportunity.
Stay tuned for more looks from Queen Rania's Japan trip.
