For its second straight-to-consumer show, Burberry will be streaming live from Makers House in London. A collaboration with the Henry Moore Foundation, the collection which aims to be seasonless will immediately be available both online and in store across the globe in reaction to the ever-changing fashion scene. Inspired by British artist Henry Moore, two of the pieces from the collection have already been available to pre-order online which can be delivered the second the show begins.
“I have been fascinated by the great British sculptor Henry Moore for as long as I can remember – his work has always had a powerful influence on me. Looking at, and thinking about, his work set up a series of conversations as we began working on our latest collection. The result is an incredibly enriching collaboration with his Foundation which has extended well beyond our show, and into an extraordinary exhibition of his work and process at Makers House” stated Burberry’s chief creative and chief executive officer Christopher Bailey.
Following the show, Makers House will open its doors to visitors offering them the unique opportunity to explore the latest collection surrounded by its inspirations. An exhibition will also be on show with Henry Moore’s works and creative processes on display. Furthermore, those lucky enough to be based or visiting in the UK will have the chance to visit the pop-up Burberry all-day café which will offer up a menu of locally sourced and artisanal British classics.
