Synonymous with the Parisian jewellery brand, Van Cleef & Arpels Perlée collection encapsulates and celebrates a new found freedom within their exquisite pieces. In order to delight and entertain their customers, they have created some dazzling new designs to add to the collection drawing upon their ancestral savoir-faire.
Pieces From The New Perlée Collection
Created to be worn alone or even to complete other pieces and collections from Van Cleef & Arpels, the Perlée collection is fashioned from both hard stones, diamonds and pearls. In an array of white, pink and yellow gold there is a delicate harmony carried throughout. From the Between the Finger Rings to the renewed take on pendants and earrings, the signature rounded bead setting technique ensures each precious material’s beauty is truly accentuated.
Twist Bracelet from 1964 and Couscous Watch from 1949 Both Van Cleef & Arpels
Although the Perlée collection first launched in 2008, it has been part of Van Cleef & Arpels history since the 1920s. First appearing as an outline for Egyptian-style designs, following the discovery of Tutankhamen’s tomb in 1922, the gold bead design flourished in 1948 as it became a style in its own right. The 1960s saw the next incarnation with soft shapes created in the Twist collection, combining the gold beads with coral and pearls, till now and its latest impeccable designs.
