Al Khatt Festival
Khawla Art and Culture presents the Al Khatt Festival this month, a vibrant celebration of Arabic calligraphy and art running from January 16 to February 22 in AlUla, Saudi Arabia. The festival showcases a rich blend of classical and contemporary artworks across different mediums, including furniture, fabric, paper, and jewellery. Set in AlUla’s Old Town, the outdoor segment features a chic calligraphy installation by Her Highness Sheikha Khawla Bint Ahmed Al Suwaidi at Tantora Square. Additionally, innovative designs by Hanayen Couture, Sandra Wahbe, and Azza Al Qubaisi will be on display blending traditional artistry with modern creativity.
Lana Khayat Holds Her Solo Exhibition
Lana Khayat, a contemporary artist from Lebanon, is set to showcase her solo exhibition at the Hafez Gallery in Riyadh. Titled: The White Lilies of Marrakech, the exhibition embraces the white lily as a symbol of resilience, transformation, and empowerment. As the first woman in her family, surrounded by male artists, to pursue a career in art, Lana is dedicated to creating spaces that honour the legacy and strength of women. Her exhibition will be on display from February 19 to March 25, 2025, in Riyadh.

Loewe Hosts a Pop-up at Greenhouse in Al Ain Oasis
Loewe’s latest pop-up allows you to reconnect with nature at a Victorian greenhouse in Al Ain Oasis, UNESCO World Heritage Site, in Abu Dhabi. From the February 1-9, visitors will be able to customise their own Loewe perfume bottles with dried flowers, and can take part in an olfactory workshop on Feb 8 and 9.
