A Day in The Life: 24 Hours with Whoop Ambassador Karen Wazen
The lifestyle icon, wellness leader and new global Whoop ambassador takes us through her day
7:15 AM
I wake up and jump straight into mom mode. Mornings are fast—I usually find at least one of the children in my room telling me it’s time to go (they love being the first ones at school). I throw on whatever workout clothes I find first and obviously grab a pair of Karen Wazen sunglasses. At drop-off by 7:45, it’s definitely not a glam moment, but it’s real life and I love it.

8:00 AM
I head to a workout straight after drop-off, either Pilates or Lagree. It’s my way of clearing my mind and getting grounded before the day really begins. Movement has become such an important part of my lifestyle, especially now that I’m prioritizing my wellness more than ever. I’m not getting any younger and the new Healthspan feature on my Whoop keeps me honest about that. It actually shows me how I’m aging on the inside by tracking 9 different metrics, which is…motivating, to say the least.
After class, I always glance at my Whoop to see how my body’s doing — how I slept, how much strain I’ve taken on. It’s honestly like having a little coach on my wrist, giving me the nudge I need to plan my day without guessing. I’m learning to listen to my body and trying to work with it, not against it.
9:15 AM
I get home, shower, and take a moment to reset. I love coffee, but I’ve cut out caffeine completely after discovering it was triggering my SVT— a heart rhythm condition I’ve learned to manage by making small, but meaningful lifestyle changes. So now it’s decaf coffee for me and I take my ECG straight from my wrist using Heart Screener which makes checking in on my heart so simple and gives me that little peace of mind I didn’t know I needed.
10:30 AM to 3:45 PM
I head to the Karen Wazen Collection office, where the creative energy is always flowing. I love being at the office! I could be deep in product development for our next collection, reviewing campaign visuals, jumping on calls, or brainstorming with the team. I usually have a protein shake at my desk. The office is a space where we feel inspired, challenged, and excited to grow together.

3:45 PM to 5:00 PM
I rush home to spend time with the kids before they head out to their activities. It’s a short window but a meaningful one— we catch up, I ask them about their day, the good things, the more difficult parts etc. then rush-rush everyone gets ready for their activities.
5:00 PM to 6:00 PM
I head out for a walk with my dog Gigi. I’m sometimes lucky to have my sisters with me. I always try to get in my 10,000 steps, and walking clears my head after a long day. If I’m alone I like to listen to music on these walks.

Lately, I’ve been paying more attention to what my body actually needs, and Hormonal Insights on Whoop has helped a lot. There are days where I’d usually push for a tougher workout, but it will tell me it’s a better time to slow down, so I take a walk instead. And those are often the walks I enjoy the most — just me, moving, breathing, and being in my own space for a little while.
6:00 PM
Back home for a moment to unwind.
7:30 PM
Dinner with the family — it’s one of the only times in the day where we all sit down together. We eat, catch up, and it’s usually loud and chaotic in the best way. We love playing games at the table. One of our family classics is Out of the Loop and another favourite is riddles, my children will proper know the answer to most riddles by now.

Evening
Some nights I have work events, and other times it’s just me and my husband either watching a show or taking a late walk through the mall. We usually stop by our store too, just to see how it’s doing.
11:30 PM
My bedtime routine is my wind-down ritual. Skincare, a few pages of a book, and no screens. I usually check my Whoop again around this time too, it tells me how much sleep I actually need and has helped me understand what quality rest really means. It’s made such a difference in how I feel the next day. I love ending the day slowly, it helps me recharge and get ready to do it all again tomorrow.
