It was a true treat for the eyes, a fashion show that merged the best of technology, art and style right in the heart of one of the region’s most vibrant cities.

On Saturday evening industry insiders and local tastemakers gathered at SEE Institute in Dubai’s Sustainable City to witness the regional debut of Yudashkin’s Haute Couture 2025 collection.

Set against a digital backdrop that took inspiration from Olga Kabaeva’s watercolour paintings, the collection – designed by creative director Gala Yudashkin – included a range of fitted dresses in winter hues and nude shades, with pops of aquamarine and indigo, and sparkling detailing; incorporating that elegant, luxe energy the house is best known for into each piece.

Yudashkin’s signature draping techniques, use of multi-textured fabrics and handmade décor, crafted in the maison’s atelier in Moscow, further infused an element of romanticism into the line. Art was everywhere, digitally projected onto the walls and incorporating into the collection’s prints. While it may not have been in her immediate conscious when designing the line, it felt that Gala was looking to the past; channeling the strength of Russia’s most power female historical figures, along with their intelligence and creativity.

Overall, Yudashkin’s Couture 2025 was a visual homage to the beauty of a bygone era and its formidable Piterech females.
