Perfect for little wannabe dancers, SemSem's autumn/winter 2017 childrenswear collection was inspired by the style of famous German ballerina Pina Bausch. A pioneer in the field of modern dance, Bausch blends modern methods with traditional techniques, making her one of the most well respected figures in dance and a role model for aspiring ballerinas.
As playful as it is practical, the collection was realised by creative director Abeer Al Otaiba, and design director Albino Riganello, who translated modern trends and the influence of dance into sweet silhouettes in fluid fabrics.
Classic items like cashmere coats are elevated with feminine touches like embellishment and fur sleeves, whilst ruffled dresses in light pink colours, lace dresses and tutu skirts are perfect for twirlling in - as any ballerina-in-training would know.
The collection is available exclusively at Harrods
