Inspired by Gary’s travels around the globe, the recently launched sharing concept at Rhodes W1 invites diners to explore and equally experience flavoursome dishes with friends and family. An interesting twist on the restaurant’s usual British cuisine, you’ll find some new additions to the menu that cater to Dubai’s melting pot of nationalities... We say, begin your culinary journey with a selection of hot and cold small plates, each infused with truly mouth-watering flavours to satisfy even the fussiest of eaters.
Bazaar also suggests the citrus cured scallops with home preserved fennel and sweet salted lemon to kick your taste buds into gear, alongside the fried egg in brioche topped with wild mushrooms, spring onions and aged balsamic. The 'big plates' (main courses) present a wide range of offerings including char-grilled sirloin steak (pictured above) served with buttered spinach and tomatoes and pan fried seabass with shrimps and lentils, which tastes as good as it sounds, but make sure to save room for dessert as the raspberry soufflé accompanied by clotted cream ice cream and hot raspberry sauce is a must-have.
Never fear, those W1 favourites such as Shepherd’s Pie still remain on The Collection menu, but we highly recommend spicing things up with Gary’s fresh and exciting new concept. — Nina Ross
