It's been the year of Queen B

One of the biggest nights in music, the 2017 Grammy Awards ceremony is set to be one to remember. The nominees for the awards have just been announced, and there are a handful of front runners guaranteed to scoop up a trophy (or nine) on the night.

Thanks to the visual and aural sensation that was Lemonade, Beyoncé has the most nominations, with nine in total. Bey is up for Record of the Year, Album of the Year and Song of the Year amongst others, all but confirming that 2016 was her year. Rihanna, Drake and Kanye West follow with eight nominations each.

David Bowie is nominated for a couple of awards for his album Blackstar, which was released just days before he passed away.

The awards ceremony is set to take place on February 12 and will be hosted by Carpool Karaoke king James Cordon. Could this finally be the moment he and Beyoncé duet? We certainly hope so.
