The Nail Spa
Led by the inspirational H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, The Nail Spa invites customers to add some pink nail art to their manicures during the month of October. All proceeds made will be donated to Pink Caravan, a UAE-based Breast Cancer Awareness initiative. And if nail art isn’t your thing, 25% of proceeds from any pink retail item sold during October will also go towards the cause.

Dubai-based Turkish restaurant Kaftan is serving their bestselling dessert with a Pinktober twist. This month, their traditional Kunefe will be served with Pink Raspberry Sorbet in honour of Breast Cancer Awareness month. Chantelle Paris will donate Dhs5 from every bra purchase to the Breast Cancer Awareness initiative, Pink Caravan. The French lingerie brand has committed to donate a minimum of Dhs15,00, which is equivalent to one chemotherapy session. You can purchase them in City Walk, Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, Deira City Centre, Ibn Battuta, Mirdif City Centre, Festival City, Wafi City Centre in Dubai; New Central Market, Yas Mall and Dalma Mall in Abu Dhabi and Sahara Centre in Sharjah.
Tips & Toes
Award-winning salon Tips & Toes will be hosting two Breast Cancer Awareness afternoons (19 October in Abu Dhabi and 25 October in Dubai), where experts are on hand to teach customers about spotting the signs and symptoms of breast cancer. Plus, if you book the Treatment of the Month with a 30-minute head, neck and shoulder massage, Tips & Toes will donate a percentage of your bill towards paying for the chemotherapy treatment of UAE-based breast cancer patient Nahla Sherif, who has been battling cancer since 2014. And if that’s not enough, pink accessories and gadgets, from vanity bags to phone cases, will be on sale throughout October, with profits going towards the fight against breast cancer.
Fairmont the Palm
In support of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Fairmont The Palm Jumeirah has dedicated their popular Full Moon Yoga event towards raising awareness. ‘Pinktober’ will take place on 7 October and all attendees are encouraged to wear head-to-toe pink. See you on the sand!

City Walk-based concept store LE66 Dubai and Friends of Cancer Patients (FoCP) have teamed up in October to invite regional bloggers, influencers and celebrities to design their own t-shirts that raise awareness for cancer. Two of Bazaar’s favourite fashion girls, Nina Zandnia and Rosemin, have both taken part in this initiative. One hundred percent of the proceeds go to charity.

For the third year in a row, Guess Eyewear has partnered with non-profit organization Get In Touch Foundation to create a limited edition capsule collection to support the fight against breast cancer. Marcolin Eyewear and Guess will be making a monetary donation to the foundation to help fight the cause.

The Galleria on Al Maryah Island has partnered with Pink Caravan for a second year to host a Breast Cancer Awareness activation from 12 October to 19 October. Abu Dhabi’s luxury shopping destination will offer free and private screening exams, as well as the opportunity to chat with breast cancer experts. Each visitor will go home with a cupcake from Leopold’s of London, a pink rose from Forever Rose and be treated to a complimentary nail polish treatment from Nstyle Beauty Lounge.
With the aims of raising awareness of breast cancer, Fitness First will be hosting a ladies-only Pink Party on 22 October at their branch in the Meadows. Ladies are invited to take part in a free Zumba class, clad in their best all-pink ensembles.
