Gap have joined forces with Wanna Read?, the non-profit organization led by Sheikha Shamma bint Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, which aims to bring the joy of reading to children in hospitals across the UAE. Filling the Blues
Filling the Blues was founded 10 years ago by Dubai-based restauranteur Tahir Shah, owner of healthy Pakastani eatery Moti Roti. Every year volunteers gather to hand out free Iftar meals to labourers who are working night shifts. Sahtein, Freedom Pizza, Appetite, Cafe Isan, Sumo Sushi & Bento, Doner & Gyros, Baker & Spice and WOFL are the latest restaurants to come on board the initiative this year, and will be handing out the dinners in JLT for the rest of Ramadan.
