Meryl Streep, who was branded "overrated" by Donald Trump, is the first actress to be nominated for 20 Oscars, after receiving a nod for her role in Florence Foster Jenkins.
The 2017 Oscar nominations were announced this afternoon with Streep up against Emma Stone, Ruth Negga, Isabelle Huppert and Natalie Portman for Best Actress.
La La Land swept the board with 14 nominations – a tie for the most ever, joint with Titanic and All About Eve.
It'll be pleasing news for Streep, who the US President called "one of the most overrated actresses in Hollywood", after she criticised him at the Golden Globes.
It would seem that the Academy disagrees.
