1. L’École Van Cleef & Arpels
Running until 25 November and over Dubai Design Week, the Paris-based School of Jewellery Arts has revealed an exciting events program for their Dubai campus. The school’s first visit to the Middle East sees activities ranging from adult classes, children’s workshops, evening conversations and exhibitions.

Fine jewellery brand Gafla is showcasing pieces from its Baraag collection in a dazzling installation designed by architect Abdalla Almulla. Entitled "Specular", the three-dimensional structure of reflective discs imbibes the mirrored 18-karat gold surfaces and flashes of diamonds of the Baraag jewels.

3. The Fronds Of Our Remains
Ruwaya Jewellery teams up with artist Shamsa Al Dhaheri for their palm tree-inspired exhibition. Shamsa and Ruwaya founder Fatima Al Dhaheri have created a pop-up installation made from wood, acrylic plastic and palm tree yarn, where visitors can view Ruwaya’s latest jewellery collection in this atmospheric setting.

4. 20th Century Fine Vintage Jewellery Design
51:55 and AlKhallafi High Jewellery are collaborating on a curated exhibition of fine 20th century jewels by world famous jewellers including JAR, Cartier, Bulgari and Van Cleef & Arpels. The showcase is accompanied by two free jewellery talks on Tuesday 14 November and Thursday 16 November from 8pm-9pm (pre-registration required).

5. IGI Kids Events
Free interactive sessions are being held by 55FIFTY7 The Diamond Studio with the International Gemological Institute, providing a great opportunity for kids between the recommended ages of 7 and 15 to learn about jewellery and precious gemstones (pre-registration required).

6. Fleur's Finds
Choose from a selection of one-of-a-kind jewels by award winning designers across the world, with pieces handpicked by founder Fleur Yennek-Butcher. Contemporary and alternative jewellery aesthetics will be introduced, providing the perfect way to stand out from the crowd.
