There’s no doubt Rihanna knows her make-up. The stunning Barbadian singer turned designer is known for her flawless beauty looks and obvious knowledge of colour, following her highly acclaimed Fenty X Puma collaborations. Now with the official launch of the Fenty Beauty Instagram more and more information is coming to light and although an exact date hasn’t been announced for the release, we do know it will be closer to the end of the year in fall. The most exciting news for the Middle East however, is the confirmation that the range will also be arriving to our shores curtsey of beauty giant Sephora.
Make-up artists also have something extra to get excited about as Rihanna is set to hold open casting calls for brand make-up artists. The calls which will be held in New York, Dallas and Los Angeles will aim to build up an International Fenty Beauty Artistry Team as well so we don’t blame you if you are already booking your tickets. Eric Soto the Global Artistry & Education Senior Manager for Kendo Brand’s which is the parent company of Fenty Beauty wrote, “By opening this up the our larger makeup community we hope to build a diverse team of beauty experts who excel in the areas of artistry, elevated education, makeup experience and have an ability to best represent a brand. This non-traditional interview process levels the playing field and allows artists everywhere an opportunity and have their work seen and be considered for a global position for a dynamic new brand.”
The beauty guru who has visited the Middle East in the past with other beauty brands like Kat Von D and Marc Jacobs continued, “Those applicants who make it through the first interview phase will be invited to a second interview at a later date and our finalists will have a chance to interview and apply makeup on Rihanna herself.” With a holographic lip colour already set to be the first product to be released within the collection, make-up artists will have to have their own original twist to make it to the big time with Rihanna.
