Your Favourite MAC Lipstick Is Now A Perfume
Spray, all day
When it comes to cult beauty products, MAC’s range of lipsticks are pretty much mainstays. And now, six of the top colours are being transformed into a range of fragrances.
MAC announced the launch, titled Shadescents, on its social media channels overnight and revealed that the shades getting the scent treatment are Ruby Woo (obvs), Candy Yum-Yum, Lady Danger, Heroine, Velvet Teddy and Crème d’Nude.
Each scent reportedly features notes related to its colours such as red leather in Ruby Woo and wild cherry in Lady Danger, and Creme d’Nude is “skin-inspired”.
There’s no official announcement on when Shadescents will be released here in the Middle East but the global online roll-out is scheduled for November 30, with the in-store planned for December 8.
With the Mariah Carey collaboration launching around then also, December is looking to be a stellar month for the beauty brand. And luckily for us, it’s right in time for those Christmas stockings…
