The Jennifer Lopez And Giuseppe Zanotti Shoe Collaboration Is Finally Here
And the Kardashians are teasing us with the first proper glimpse
Shoe lovers rejoiced at the news of famed designer Giuseppe Zanotti, joining forces with the one and only Jennifer Lopez back in July and now the time is now finally here, to get your credit cards at the ready as social media is blowing up with celebrities receiving their first pairs and stores announcing the drop date as January 23. Featuring 18 stunning designs, you will be able to choose from the likes of embellished wedge sneakers, Swarovski-encrusted booties and knee-high snakeskin gladiators. Would you expect anything less?
With spring on the horizon, the designs offer a fitting colour scheme of pastels and neutral tones with the two leather handbag designs featured in the collection, complementing the footwear. While Lopez is no stranger to the world of fashion (she launched her successful J.Lo by Jennifer Lopez line in 2001), the #GiuseppeXJennifer shoe collection will be the first time the singer actually collaborates with an established designer.
As for inspiration on the collection, Lopez further explained in a recent press release, “Whether I’m walking the red carpet or dressed casually, the right shoes complete my outfit to make me feel beautiful, sexy, and fearless. The collection Giuseppe and I have created is everything you would expect from the both of us – bad ass high heels with shapes that are fierce and of course, have some sparkle.”
Kris Jenner was first to give us a glimpse of the collection, with a photo of the heels that Jennifer Lopez gifted her. The note included in Kris’s Instagram read, “I designed this classy, sexy sandal with a classy, sexy lady in mind and that was you!” Jenner’s youngest daughter, Kylie, received a pair of lavender Giuseppe for Jennifer Lopez heels with a custom note as well.
The limited collection launches on January 23 and will be available for purchase through U.S. retailers such as Giuseppe Zanotti Design stores, Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus.
