Alexa Chung Teams Up With Marks & Spencer
The British style icon will collaborate with the high-street store on a unique collection inspired by its archive, and key pieces from the collection will be available in the region
If you’ve ever wanted to steal Alexa Chung’s style, you’ll get your chance this coming May. Marks & Spencer has announced a unique collaboration with the fashionable face, entitled Archive By Alexa, which focuses on bringing pieces from the brand’s history back to life for 2016.
Using the extensive Marks & Spencer company archive, Chung and the design team have carefully curated a 31-piece womenswear collection. The pieces are being updated for 2016 with the introduction of modern fabrics and a new colour palette. Chung will also take creative ownership of the mood and direction of the campaign, which will launch in April.

“Marks & Spencer’s history is vast and quality design has always been paramount; therefore using our expertise and classic designs and Alexa’s unique eye and approach to style, our collaboration was born,” explained Steve Rowe, the brand’s executive director of general merchandise.
This project marks the first of the ‘M&S &’ series, which promises to be a sequence of unique, exclusive collections in collaboration with exciting brands, designers and fashion icons.
Select, key pieces from the Archive By Alexa collection will be available in the region from May 2016, exclusively in Dubai (Dubai Festival City, Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates), Qatar (Landmark Mall, Villaggio Mall) and Kuwait (The View, 360 Mall). – Amy de Klerk and Maddison Glendinning
