Shoe addicts rejoice as legendary footwear and accessory designer Manolo Blahnik opens up his first stunning retail space in Doha, Qatar. Opening in Salam in The Gate Mall the space has been designed by London-based architect Nick Leith-Smith. Known for his contemporary designs the opulent interior has been created to showcase the shoes in all of their stylish splendour.

An evolution of the flagship boutique in The Dubai Mall, the hand-carved white hardwood screen unrolls within the store. Inspired by the ‘complexity and intricacy of Islamic architectural detailing’ the display also echoes ‘the quality of light and landscape of the vast expanses of the Rub’ al Khali desert and the Sabkha salt flats.’

Curated especially for the region the selection of shoes and handbags will feature all of Blahnik’s latest designs throughout the exquisite space. Making for the ultimate shopping experience, the jewel tones of the designer’s most iconic designs pop against the interior meaning you will find it very hard leaving empty handed.
