Rihanna Wore Saint Laurent’s New Fur Boots Right Off The Runway
Of course she rocks them effortlessly
One week after Yves Saint Laurent debuted furry over-the-knee boots at its Spring 2018 show in Paris, Bad Gal Riri is already flaunting them on Instagram like a natural.
Rihanna paired the dramatic shoe with an Off-White turtleneck minidress and Raf Simons oversized denim shirt when he posed for the ‘gram. No caption needed.
The heeled boot—which features fringed, feather-like strands covering the whole leg—is a part of creative director Anthony Vaccarello’s third collection for YSL, which he debuted right under the Eiffel Tower last Tuesday. Motifs of texture and volume weren’t only constricted to the footwear; they also applied to the clothing, with feather poufs and bubble silhouettes on dresses, tops and skirts.
The collection also included black, blue and knee-high iterations of the off-beat shoe. We wouldn’t be surprised if Riri wore them in every variation in the coming season.

Rihanna also sported YSL’s statement-making, crystal-encrusted boots right off the runway last season. She paired them with ripped jeans, a graphic tee, leather jacket and oversized hoops, but the shimmery shoes made the outfit.
