SKIN & BODY
Skincare routine: For morning I use a light, cream cleanser and moisturiser, which are the key things in my routine, and if I have more time then I use a mask while I do emails. There are so many traditional remedies that I’ve used since I was young, like mixing honey, lemon, turmeric, yogurt and chickpea flour, then leaving it on the face for 15 minutes. If I’m going to be outside or in the city, I always wear a sunscreen, and if I do wear make-up it’s very light. For night-time, I’m very careful about removing any make-up, and always do a mask a couple of times a week; either a detox mask or something more hydrating. To exfoliate, I’ll mix ground-up orange peel, glycerin, honey, lemon and sugar. I use these same masks and peels on my face and body. I do love using oil in my hair and body, I use sesame oil in winter and coconut oil in the summer, as some are better in warmer or cooler weather.
Go-to product for skin emergencies: Aloe vera gel. It moisturises, tightens and has soothing properties.
Moisturiser & Suncream: I’m developing my own moisturiser, which is a multifunctional 4-in-1 product that also has natural sunscreen; I can’t wait to put it out in the market in Summer 2021.
Cleansers: Origins Mega Mushroom Skin Relief Face Cleanser,
