The Academy Museum Gala returns for its fifth annual edition, and so do the show-stopping looks

The Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles was back in the spotlight this weekend, drawing the industry’s A-list talent and tastemakers to the red carpet once more. Director and President of The Academy Museum, Amy Homma says, “The Academy Museum Gala is a special evening dedicated to bringing together individuals to champion the celebration, advancement, and preservation of cinema.”

Upon its return for the fifth annual edition, the gala raised over $12 million in order to support its education initiatives, public programming, and exhibitions. This year’s gathering features standout highlights, including a live performance from Bruce Springsteen – recipient of the Legacy Award – who continues to honour his name through his trailblazing artistry, and Penélope Cruz’s ground-breaking global work – recognised through the Icon Award.
