Whilst most of us were getting ready for bed, the whole world was light up with Beyoncé and Jay Z’s news that they were expecting twins. Of course, they had to make the announcement in style, with Beyoncé posting up a shot from a pregnancy photoshoot onto Instagram. Surrounded by an arch of flowers and wearing a veil, the singer is seen tenderly embracing her growing bump.

The caption stated, “We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes.” The follows their previous announcement back in 2011 at the MTV Video Music Awards where Beyoncé famously announced on stage that she was pregnant with their first daughter Blue Ivy, who was born on January 7 2012.
