Jasmine Tookes Announces Engagement To Juan David Borrero
The Victoria’s Secret model shared the exciting news with her followers on Instagram yesterday
“Si, mi amor! We’re engaged!!!” With a Spanish-English caption followed by the usual engagement shot of a striking diamond ring, Jasmine Tookes revealed to the world she’s engaged to long-term boyfriend, Juan David Borrero.
According to Page Six, her now-fiancé selected a splendid 7 carat diamond engagement ring worth $250,000 (approx. Dhs918,000) to pop the question to his supermodel girlfriend (custom designed by American fine jewelry company Ritani, set in 18k yellow gold with a hidden halo and diamond embellished prongs, according to People Magazine.)
It all started with an utterly romantic surprise trip, organised by Jasmine’s now fiancé, is a director of international markets at Snapchat, that concluded with a happy “engagement” ending.
The 29-year-old supermodel’s special day began with her being blindfolded and taken to the place where the couple first met: The Rose Café in Venice, California.
Afterwards, David whisked Jasmine away on a plane ride to Page, Arizona where the couple boarded a helicopter destined for a secluded place in the middle of the desert rocks in Utah, with a romantic dining set-up was waiting for them.
From there, Borrero finally guided her to the place where he proposed with an utterly romantic rock formation in the shape of: WYMM! (Will You Marry Me!). Talk about a fairy-tale proposal, right?
The couple, who’ve been dating since 2016, still have yet to announce an official wedding date and venue, but we expect it will be nothing less than dreamy and extravagant if the proposal is any taste of what’s to come…
