Why Cinque Is A Must-Try For Italian Foodies In Dubai
With a menu inspired by the south of Italy, this upscale eatery will take your taste buds on the culinary journey sure to satisfy your cravings
With travel restrictions beginning to ease and the summer months fast approaching many of us are longing for an adventure abroad, often one that includes the option of sampling regional cuisine far superior to what’s available “back home.”
As we anxiously wait for more news regarding where we can (and can’t) travel, Dubai-based foodies can explore the delicious cuisine of Southern Italy by booking into Cinque for a delectable night out.
Located at the FIVE Palm Jumeirah, the upscale Italian eatery is a triple threat, boasting impeccable service, a relaxed yet upscale ambience and, of course, a selection of dishes that will take your taste buds on a culinary journey to Italy – with a dash of Dubai flair incorporated into the mix.
Located at the FIVE Palm Jumeirah, with a sharing-concept menu created by Chef Giuseppe Pezzella, this somewhat untraditional (yet still delectable) Italian restaurant serves what can best be described as reimagined Southern-Italian classics. While Amalfi staples such as insalata di carciofi (artichoke salad) and polpo scottato (roasted octopus) are on the menu, in true Dubai fashion Cinque boasts options like the decadent Gold Sheikh burrata (an eccentric gold-leaf topped burrata starter), perfect for sharing with friends or, naturally, on social media.
For the primi piatti, the risotto carnaroli with Sicilian red prawns is simply divine. And for the vegetarians in the group the tonnarelli cacio, pepe e tartufo nero (black truffle and cacio cavallo pasta) are excellent options. As for the secondi piatti, the branzino (sea bass) and filetto di manzo (beef tenderloin) are must-tries.
