This binge worthy mystery drama has viewers glued to their screen, as the story follows the adventures of protagonist John B, played by actor Chase Stokes, and his best friends known as The Pogues. In short summary, the characters work towards finding the “legendary treasure linked to his father’s disappearance” on a barrier of islands, known as the Outer Banks of North Carolina — and, naturally, are met with various challenges along the way.
The Netflix original was a huge success, having earned itself three nominations and two awards – one being the People’s Choice Award of Bingeworthy Show of 2020 — that ever since the first season’s cliffhanger finale, fans have been waiting patiently for the next season, which just aired this past weekend on July 30th.
