Rain has come back to Dubai.

According to Gulf News, light to moderate showers has hit various parts of the UAE such as Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah this afternoon. This won’t be the last time we’ll be seeing this weather as residents and tourists can expect to see rain and unstable weather for the rest of the week.

A representative of the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) told Gulf News, “From today until Friday the country will be under the effect of a surface low-pressure system extension from the southwest with an extension of an upper air trough from the north, along with cold and humid air mass flowing in from the west in the upper air,”

To top off the less-than-exciting news regarding the emirate’s weather, the NCM representative added that temperatures across the UAE will fall by seven degrees celsius on Thursday with a chance of hail in some areas.
