2018’s Black Label Masterpieces by Cindy Chao are completely covered with gemstones

Cindy Chao The Art Jewel has unveiled its 2018 Black Label Masterpieces collection that is inspired by architecture, sculpture, travel and nature. The high jewellery designer’s philosophy is to create jewels as pieces of art, with these bejewelled creations reflecting light and colour from surfaces that are completely covered with gemstones. 

This technical feat is very difficult to achieve, with stones attached using meticulous care and patience that requires more than 10,000 hours to complete. As a result, The Black Label Masterpieces are the designer’s most exclusive creations and every jewel is a one-of-a-kind piece that is individually named, numbered and dated by Cindy Chao The Art Jewel.

Revealing the collection, Cindy Chao said, “I am thrilled to unveil my 2018 Black Label Masterpieces. Inspired by one of my trips in British Columbia, Canada last year where I was fully immersed in Nature’s endless wonder, the new collection will allow collectors and connoisseurs to experience the world through my eyes.”
