Shop Saudi 100 Brands Pop-Up in Riyadh
Saudi Arabia’s Fashion Commission has launched its first shoppable event for its Saudi 100 Brands initiative in the Kingdom’s capital
“This was a dream – to do a retail moment in Saudi,” says Burak Çakmak, CEO of the Fashion Commission on the first night of the Saudi 100 Brands Ramadan pop-up in Riyadh. “We are so proud to bring, in our second season of the initiative, 170 brands to the Saudi audience,” he added. And with that, the four-day shopping event got underway in the Kingdom’s capital city.

The massive venue for the pop-up features stands from brands that have gone through the rigorous Fashion Commission selection process. Visitors can discover new womenswear designers, up-and-coming jewellery brands, hot handbag designers and even some very cutting-edge menswear labels at the event. All of it is laid out in a way that creates an easy flow from one section to another and is peppered with high-end pop-up eateries for guests to enjoy after a day spent fasting.

In his welcoming remarks, Burak noted that the brands on hand are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to putting on display the vast range of artists and craftsmen the country has to offer. That being said, the event does create a unique showcase for a wide range of original designs that are both deep-rooted heritage and yet forward-facing fashion. “We are putting Saudi on the map as a creative hub, and showcasing their original ideas inspired by their heritage, families and traditional way of living and giving a new perspective to the world about what fashion is,” recounts Burak.

At the height of this Ramadan season, the evening affair also encourages the community to take a journey of luxury discovery. As the four-day event comes to a close we can expect to see a continuation of awareness and growth for the Saudi 100 Brands members – pushing the region’s stars towards the world stage – and further welcoming everyone to appreciate the rich heritage of the country.

The pop-up is taking place in Riyadh Front from 9 PM to 1:30AM until the 8th of April.
