The Big Day is here. The nuptials of Jordan’s Crown Prince Al Hussein and Rajwa Alseif are only a few hours away.
As Jordanians prepare to celebrate alongside the royal family, netizens abroad have tuned in to watch the nuptials of HRH Crown Prince AlHussein bin Abdullah II and Ms. Rajwa Alseif, live from their homes.
Excitement is at an all-time high throughout the region, as Jordan hasn’t hosted a royal wedding of this scale for nearly 30 years, the last one being the marriage of King Abdullah II of Jordan and Queen Rania back in 1993.

The ceremony will be attended by around 140 guests.
His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein and Miss Rajwa Alseif’s wedding ceremony, known as the katb ktab, will be attended by around 140 guests. These attendees include members of the Royal Hashemite family, invited royals and heads of state.
The Crown Prince will be wearing a suit that draws inspiration from His Majesty King Abdullah II on his wedding day.
The Crown Prince’s wedding suit takes inspiration from His Majesty King Abdullah II on his wedding day. Showcasing the legacy of his family, the sleeves pay homage to the timeless and elegant style displayed by both Their Majesties King Abdullah II and King Abdullah I.

Bride Miss Rajwa Alseif will arrive at the wedding venue in a 1968 Rolls-Royce Phantom V.
The bride-to-be Miss Rajwa Alseif will be arriving at the Zahran Palace in a 1968 Rolls-Royce Phantom V. The luxury vehicle is a custom-made masterpeice for the late Queen Zein al-Sharaf, the Crown Prince’s great grandmother and was recently seen during Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania’s Independence Day celebrations. 
Miss Rajwa Alseif will be escorted by Prince Hashem bin Abdullah II and Princess Salma bint Abdullah II. Prince Hashem.
The bride will arrive at the venue and then be escorted by her future brother and sister-in-law, Prince Hashem bin Abdullah II and Princess Salma bint Abdullah II to the gazebo where the Islamic marriage ceremony will take place.

The newlyweds will travel in a 1984 Range Rover from Zahran Palace to Al Husseiniya Palace.
His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein and Miss Rajwa Alseif will travel to the Al Husseiniya Palace in a specially customized 1984 Range Rover that was made for the visit of Her Majesty the late Queen Elizabeth to Jordan by the British automotive coachbuilding
company, Wood & Pickett. The loved vehicle is known by the name of Sheer Rover and entered into the Royal Automobile Museum in 2003, and has remained there until 
it was recommissioned for duty for the Crown Prince’s wedding today. 
The bride and groom will be welcomed with a Zaffeh.
Following custom traditions, the arrival of the newlyweds is announced with a Zaffeh musical procession that includes singing, clapping, drums, and bagpipes. After, the bride and groom will be led to the reception courtyard area by a military Zaffeh performed by the Jordan Armed Forces Musical Band.
