The New Look: How Hanan Houachmi and Leena Al Ghouti Are Bringing To Life MCM’s Debut Ramadan Collection
Making its first foray into modest dressing for the Holy Month, with the help of not one but two Dubai-based tastemakers, the German brand’s capsule boasts a selection of pieces that put a contemporary spin on chic-yet-modest dressing
Whenever a brand joins forces with a regional creative, we just know we’re in for a treat. Bursting with ideas and always eager to put a fresh spin on Ramadan wardrobe staples, Hanan Houachmi is the perfect example of a multi-faceted tastemaker who unabashedly refuses to compromise style when honouring her values.

The modest fashion consultant has joined forces with MCM, which is making its first foray into creating Ramadan-specific capsule collections. Along with fellow creative Leena Al Ghouti, the pair have proudly unveiled a selection of experimental yet chic pieces in time for the Holy Month, each one influenced by their shared ethos.

Think shaylas in the iconic MCM print, both in navy and neutral shades, and glittering clutches – ideal for a little statement dazzle when out at a iftar or suhoor.

Starring in the campaign Leena embraced her role as muse, fusing an elegant yet powerful energy into the collection, reminding us all that individuality should never be sacrificed when dressing for Ramadan.

MCM’s Ramadan Ready-to-Wear capsule collection will be available at selected stores in Dubai, Kuwait, London, Germany, Korea, Malaysia, and Singapore.

The collection is in the selected stores and online on OUNASS.com.
