Chaumet Unveils A New Immersive Exhibition in Doha

Inspired by the beauty of mother nature, this high jewellery retrospective will be the first of its kind to debut in Qatar

An exhibition displaying Chaumet’s storied legacy, and its special connection with nature, has been unveiled at M7 in Msheireb Downtown Doha.

On until December 19, 2024 Chaumet & Nature takes visitors on a visual journey, exploring the confluence of high jewellery and the natural world.

The maison has explored the beauty of Mother Nature in several other high profile presentations, including Dessein de nature in Paris’ Saint-Germain and Jewels of Nature events in Shanghai and Tokyo, and now the stylish retrospective has arrived in Qatar. The public can indulge in the artistic brilliance of Chaumet, discovering some of the most notable designs in its rich archive.

This exhibition immerses visitors into the heritage of the iconic jewellery house, which has drawn upon botany, flora and fauna as its muse since it was founded in 1780.

The retrospective is set to dazzle the public with an estimated 107 pieces of jewellery and 111 visual works on display featuring rare coloured gemstones and sensational diamonds.

Local talent has been integrated into the event, with an innovative collaboration between Chaumet and M7, and Qatari artist Shouq Al-Mana was invited to create an exclusive design for the exhibition. Another talking point is the beautiful display of Altawash, which is inspired by the Qatari cultural practice of pearl diving.
