Tailored for the Road: The Range Rover SV Black Introduces New Heights of Luxury
It’s all in the details when it comes to intricate finishes and second-to-none materials

If the Range Rover line-up were part of your closet, the SV Black would be the LBD; the foundation on which all capsule wardrobes worth their salt are built. Bold, sexy, yet always reliable, it’s the classic you reach for when you need something that will always impress. All black, high-gloss… by rights, it shouldn’t make a statement – yet it never fails to.
Revealed at the prestigious British Goodwood Festival of Speed, the new Range Rover SV Black takes the brand’s legacy of design and distils it into its most focused as well as commanding version. Finished in Narvik Gloss Black from bonnet to brake callipers, it’s sculptural in silhouette, with 23-inch gloss alloy wheels and a body that feels as tailored as Savile Row’s finest.

Inside, the vehicle features new Ebony Near-Aniline leather that wraps the seats in single-panel precision, paired with satin black birch veneers and ceramic Moonlight Chrome detailing. And then there’s what you don’t see, such as the world-first Sensory Floor, a haptic experience that vibrates gently beneath your feet in sync with your music, or one of six wellness programmes designed to soothe your entire nervous system. The Body-and-Soul-Seats (yes, really) extend that experience to the back and spine, making the in-cabin experience feel more like a wellness ritual than simply driving to work.

Beyond the design, the SV Black is also a testament to the car manufacturer’s commitment to sustainability. The model introduces FSC-certified Pirelli P Zero tyres made from over 70 per cent recycled and bio-based materials, offering both high performance and a lighter footprint.

Available to order in late 2025, the SV Black joins the brand’s most exclusive line-up, alongside SV Serenity and SV Intrepid. But it is this edition that is stealthy, sculptural, and sensory, and is testament to Range Rover’s approach to modern luxury. landrover-me.com
