Marchesa Opens Its First Store Worldwide In Dubai

Forget flying across the globe to find that perfect dress, as Dubai has just become the first city in the world to have its very own standalone Marchesa boutique. Newly opened in The Dubai Mall and located on the first floor of the renowned Fashion Avenue, there is no doubt that the store will fast become a hot spot for fashion’s elite.

Created in 2004 by designers Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, the brand has only previously been stocked in high-end department stores and bridal boutiques. Famed for their celebrity clientele from Penélope Cruz to Kate Hudson and Rihanna, the design duo are known for creating show-stopping eveningwear that has graced countless best dressed lists. They also have a diffusion line called Marchesa Notte and are well-known in the bridal circuit for their ethereal gowns and accessories.

For now, the Dubai boutique is offering both Marchesa and Marchesa Notte, with a selection of their handbags, shoes and accessories on offer, ready to delight their customers from the current collection. Brides-to-be can also visit the store where they will be able to review the bridal collections, which can then be ordered and delivered to the region.

With an interior that has been designed to look and feel like a Parisian bourgeois apartment from the 1940s, customers can fully immerse themselves within the romance of Marchesa. Furthermore, to celebrate the exciting opening a private event will be held in Dubai in collaboration with Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, tomorrow evening.
