
Next-Gen Stardom: Fai Khadra And Elyanna Are The Newest Faces of EYE’M

Two half-Palestinian creators are making their mark on the pop culture scene with a new sound and a new look. Elyanna, a Palestinian-Chilean singer, and Fai Khadra, a Palestinian-American multi-disciplinary artist, are the products of a digital age, in which success is determined by ones ability to harness the power of social media in order to build and market their own brand. This is no easy task, but Elyanna and Fai both understood the assignment.
Elyanna started singing in her living room when she was only seven years old. At 15, her family moved to Los Angeles, partly so she could pursue her passion of becoming a recording artist. Today, Elyanna boasts almost 500K Instagram followers and has hit singles featuring acclaimed musicians such as Massari (whose songs have been streamed over 100 million times). By mixing Arabic and English lyrics, Elyanna’s music offers a unique hybrid. By injecting sounds into her songs from both her Arabian and American background, she is bit by bit creating an entirely new music genre.
Throughout the past year Palestinian-American cool kid Fai Khadra has created shock waves in the international social scene, becoming a bona fide multi-disciplinary creative, consulting on music, fashion, architecture, stage design and art. Not to mention that he has become a style icon in his own right.
While his rise to fame came soon after he was spotted socialising with the Kardashian-Jenner clan back in 2019, the 30-year-old social media sensation has successfully proved there is substance behind his feed…
After all, Fai isn’t just a model, trying to gain clout by posting photos with his famous friends or family members (he also happens to be the older brother of fashion industry darlings, twins Simi & Haze); he’s an entrepreneur on the rise, one that understands how to leverage the power of the digital world, combining it with creativity, personality and understated swagger.
Case in point: Fai recently joined forces with EYE’M (pronounced ‘I am’), starring in its newest campaign alongside Elyanna. Available exclusively at MAGRABi, the brand is youthful, energetic, and fresh in nature – just the kind of eyewear festival-goers seek out before attending back-to-back concerns throughout the summer months. And, naturally, Fai injects the right does of Gen-Z cool into the campaign.
Produced and directed by Eli Rezkallah of Plastik in Los Angeles, the video captures both Fai and Elyanna in a whirlwind technicolour series of shots taken at a retro drive-in cinema and a vintage motel. Fluorescent lights, bright colours, vintage cars and a disco beat come together to invoke a nostalgic picture of Los Angeles, but with an undoubtedly contemporary spirit.
Designed in Italy, the EYE’M collection is produced with the finest acetate and hypoallergenic stainless steel; comfort and durability were a priority throughout the creation process with each piece designed to withstand the test of time (and, of course, late nights out.) From rectangle spectacles to oversized sunnies and cat-eye frames, the collection caters to every face shape, with both tinted and chrome lenses injecting a free-spirited youthfulness into the line.
Both Fai and Elyanna play the role of next-gen it-boy and it-girl with ease, infusing their energy into the pieces they wear while driving around town, sipping on milkshakes and lounging around throughout the campaign’s video.
